Details Introduction
Corundum mullite castable is made from brown corundum and mullite aggregates as the main components, utilizing micro-powder technology, combined with white cement and additives.
The mullite contained in corundum mullite castable is relatively rare in nature, with high purity, large density, good organizational structure, low creep rate, small thermal expansion, good thermal shock resistance, and strong chemical erosion resistance. Mullite has good high-temperature creep resistance. A protective film forms during the use of mullite, and it has good flexibility. It is suitable for use in high-temperature, high-wear, and highly corrosive areas.
The high-temperature performance of corundum mullite castable can be comparable to that of magnesia, silica, and corundum products, with good thermal shock resistance and decent resistance to acid and low-alkali slag erosion.
Corundum mullite castable is widely used in high-temperature industries. Due to the use of excellent raw materials, corundum mullite castable is widely applied in the high-temperature zones of industrial furnaces and kiln openings, as well as in key areas with strong erosion in kilns.
