Details Introduction
Mullite lightweight bricks, also known as mullite lightweight thermal insulation bricks and mullite-based refractory bricks, can reduce the volume of the masonry in the kiln, lighten the overall weight, and shorten the heating time, resulting in uniform furnace temperature. This reduces heat loss and saves energy. Mullite lightweight bricks can also improve the lining conditions in the furnace and extend the service life of the kiln.
Mullite lightweight bricks have low thermal conductivity, good thermal insulation effects, and can withstand temperatures above 1500℃.
Due to the excellent high-temperature mechanical properties and chemical stability of mullite, mullite lightweight bricks possess high structural strength at high temperatures, low high-temperature creep rate, small thermal expansion coefficient, strong resistance to chemical erosion, and good thermal shock resistance. They can effectively reduce the weight of the furnace body and save energy.
